Your pics are always magazine quality.
What type of camera are you using right now?

Thanks Corey, I’m using my workhorse D-60. It’s enough camera perform in the wild and not be completely heartbroken I accidentally destroy it the process.

I have a nice Sony DSC-H9 Cybershot I bought a few years back that is 8 megapixels, but the pics are always kind of washed out and not vibrant.
But I also shoot it on automatic settings all the time too.
It is adjustable, but I do not know what I am doing if I try to change stuff.

Sweet! I used to work out here (long story) and know Mogollon, Reserve (or Reverse and folks call it) etc. Did you get to Snow Lake and Bearwallow?

The Gila provides thousands of miles of road by way of rugged and remote terrain. As help or assistance is rare in these parts, it’s advised to go well prepared. I drove over 200 miles without seeing anything but wildlife.

Vermejo's Colorado Exploration - September 09

Gunnison - Crested Butte - Aspen - Leadville - Denver - Fairview - Buena Vista - Salida - Alma

Routes:

Scenic Crested Butte/Schofield Pass/Paradise Divide Loop

Crested Butte/Pearl Pass/Aspen/Independence Pass to Leadville

Mosquito Pass

Cottonwood Pass/Tincup/Cumberland Pass/Alpine Tunnel/Hancock/St. Elmo

South Park Area Exploration

Wheeler Lake Trail

We did most everything in the original plans, and then some. The snowstorms and cold weather provided an ironic end to our long and brutal summer. While we spent most of our time in the mountains, in-between we sought refuge with the company of good friends, good brew, good food and a “one-off” tattoo parlor.

Beautiful pictures but I want to know what the pictures look like before you enhance them. I want to get that camera you have but I need to know the actual picture itself. Post some more if you have them. Thanks for sharing.

I use a Nikon D60

“Enhancement” - Contrast adjustment and/or B&W conversion for some images

Could it quite possibly be talent?

they could, quite possibly, be un-enhanced. It's all about the camera settings to get the colors the way you want them,

Beautiful pictures and sweet rig! I aspire to a rig that capable someday.
