uwharrie 11/10-11/13

i went to Uwharrie this weekend with the club here at school. had a great time, i was just glad to finally get to wheel my 884runner. there were a few toyotas: my 88 SAS 4runner, my roomates 94 fj-80, an 85 fj-60, and an 83 pickup, also had 2 jeeps, a plymouth trailduster, and a blazer buggy.
Here are a bunch of pics my friend that rode with me took.

for anyone thats been to uwharrie, here is one of me gettin it up kodak rock. i could have made it up but didnt want to mess up my passenger side rocker panel any more, put a nice dent in it, time for sliders. i had to take my hammer and beat the rocker out of the way so i could put my doors back on this morning

not all the trails are that rocky, most are quite a bit easier. we just chose to run the hard stuff over and over and hit everyline we could. it was extremely dry this weekend, it can get really nasty when wet though. im not sure when they close the trails for the season, but if its not before christmas my buddy wants to go down again when he finishes the sas on his tacoma.

They close dec 15. I'll be there dec 3rd with a group and celebrating Janet Beckers birthday ( one of the rangers) . I'd like to see your buds sas taco and would be happy to answer any questions about it he may have. You may have even seen my truck there a few times. For those that ask about the trails at Uwharrie here's a teaser shot of my truck at Kodak rock and I'm turning 38" rubbers

That was his first trip. He wasn't lucky enough to be in the truck when it almost rolled a 2nd time. Notice the 3rd pic. That's Bud behind me. I bet Patrick kicks himself for selling that tacoma to budbuilt not lol
