Trails near Bullhead City, (Secret Pass)

Well, if you saw the other thread I posted about the Sleeping Princess trail, you remember my friend Jerry who wheeled in his dad's stock Suzuki Samurai. Well, he got his Jeep Cherokee fixed and came down to Bullhead. We didn't go back to Sleeping Princess trail (didn't have enough time), but we did check out some trails near the Mount Nutt Wilderness area. (Near where we went when you came out, Marc, although not the same trails.) We didn't take a whole lot of pictures, but we did get some of the more interesting parts of the trail, with the exception of a VERY steep descent that we were all to stressed out about to remember to take pictures of!

Here's some of the pics we did take...

This is going into a short fun section that had some carnage potential if you weren't paying attention...

Walking back up after scouting it out.

The approach...

There's a few more, stay tuned...

Ok, here's a few of Jerry and his Jeep... (Ok, lets refrain from the Jeep jokes, Lord knows I already give him a hard time about it... )

And some scenery...

Still more coming...

These next three are coming back up that same section, a little later in the day.

This is heading up "Secret Pass" road. Apparently, it's an access road, but with the recent rains, it made for some interesting moments. Most of it is really exposed.

The view from the top (Lake Mohave in the background):

So true, let's forget the Jeep part for a minute. Why in the world did he go with TrXuS STS's?!

Well, I would surmise that like many of the things that most of us have done to or bought for our trucks...it seemed like a good idea at the time.

But for what it's worth...I give 'im grief about those tires all the time.

Looks good. Arizona is one of the few states that I wanted to stop and poke around when I was driving through.

When you get back from playing out in the ocean, you should make a trip over here...

There's plenty of slow stuff for my truck and fast stuff for yours....

Sir, yes sir. Took some scotch brite, and gave it a few scrubs, till it looked almost like brushed aluminum, then applied a couple of coats of paint adhesive, and then Krylon Satin Black. So far it's held up pretty well! The nice thing it that it's pretty easy to touch up if you need to.

Sweet! I hope you can!

I'll be running the rest of Sleeping Princess on the 31st, so depending on how that goes, maybe we can do that again.
