Man...That would be way cool!
We got back tonight and attended a family dinner party. we were able to see the videos for the 1st time on a TV, and they are "super cool". The lean on Rocker Knocker is awesome! The trip up Lions back is really cool and gives a great perspective as to just how narrow it really is in certain sections.
I'll try and get them posted tomorrow.
I also got some film of the Rock Pile. For this one, I just pulled out the winch cable. All the rocks that make the Rock Pile the Rock Pile were moved to the bypass. So, it was pretty steep. I pulled out the winch and just winched/drove it.

Very nice line on Rocker Knocker! A bunch of my friends recently took a similar line with an uphill strap to the roof with a few people on it. It was typically around 40 degrees, but it worked and no one winched.
Which line did you take on Yellow Hill? That's the very last climb at the top of Pritchett Canyon? Years ago you had to go around the outside to the right. Then a couple years ago everyone went right up the middle at the base of the valley. Now I think more people are doing the far right line again. Climbing up the right ledge can be tough (and scary) too depending on how close you get to the edge.

Thanks Jeff.
The obstacle just before the Rock Pile, I took the line to the right, and ended up winching this one. It was a tough one. I winched Rock Pile as well. Seems all the rocks that make Rock Pile the Rock Pile were at the bypass route. Then, on the last obstacle I went to the left, the easier line.
Well, here they are.

The file shows going up, turning around and then coming down.

Here is how the camera was mounted on the 4Runner for Lions Back
Enjoy, and let me know what you all think.

The point POV vids are ok but once you've seen one you've seen them all;I prefer the vids showing the truck, got any of those? Still freakin' scary and I know I won't be doing it since I don't think I could handle that much pucker.

Good stuff! I liked the LB video, it gives a nice perspective.
The rocker knocker vid is crazy. Your rear side seemed awfully close to that big rock but you made the climb itself look so easy. way cool.

Looks like lots of people have seen the videos.
Any comments?
I wish I would have had two video cameras. I could have gotton two different perspectives as I was driveing Rocker Knocker. Maybe next time.

Spectacular pics, Steve!
I tried to make an animated avatar for you, but it just ain't gonna work. I got the sequence down to 9k total, but when you create the animated .gif, it just bloats it to 10x that.
Oh well...

Sorry, I'm in love with my wife. She's an excellent driver off-road, sings, composes music, plays guitar, piano, speaks 3 languages, has a Mastors degree in one of those 3 languages; understands Lockers, gears, transfer cases and big tires, and looks great in high heels. I pretty much have the whole package.

Cool, is there some way to just get 3 pictures into an Avatar. Say the 1st, middle and the last?
