I don't know for sure yet if I'll be able to make it, but I especially won't be able to make plans with my family about it until I know it's a definite, for sure trip like the last one.

hey sno, I saw a set of 33x12.50s on 15x10s at a junkyard on monday... lol had 95% tread and the owner was only asking 250 for them... you'd need atleast a 2" BL to clear them though... weren't you planning on running a 3" anyway?

darn....i'd love to go but unfortunately wont be able to make any trips for a little while. got in a motorcycle accident a few days ago. somewhow i got VERY lucky and received no broken bones but got pretty darn banged up. can't really do any driving right now because i smashed my left hand pretty good and can't grip the steering wheel i'm guessing a few weeks before i can make a fist. what i'm realizing now is that not only did i screw myself over by not being able to ride my bike for a while, but cant drive the truck either! man this sucks! oh well...i guess it could be MUCH worse and i got lucky.

you guys should definitely go though. that trail was pretty darn fun. i wish i could go but now i just get to see it on the net.

Yes im planing on running a 3" BL but that is in the future thanks for letting me know though . I figured that when I go for tires I will go for the KM2s 32x10.5 with 15x8 beadlocks so I can go as big as I can stock. My plan is working from the bottom up doing a mild suspension lift when I go to 33s and the BL is to make the belly flat mainly to raise the gas tank. As is I had to lie to my grandmother about going to a job interview so she would not know that I actually was meeting some one to buy 4:88s and sit in the garage for when I get new bigger tires she thinks that it is part of the rest of the mess that belongs to my 54 Beetle. Cause she hates junk thats what she see's any. She is your typical female just drives and takes it to the shop and I trust them to have known them for many years. Ok so now im just rambling enough said LOL.

Hey stockwell45, excellent looking pics. I see your jerry can holder turned out pretty good. I don't imagine you run the main roads all the time like that but if you do, did you ever get stopped by the police for having your license plate covered up? Was that your Winchester guarding your tire? I have the same rifle...one of the best short range rifles I've ever had, actually the only one I have left.

KML And GPX Track Files

I know this is super super late but I finally got a waypoint track out of my gps that I brought along. I'll post up a gpx and a kml file if you want to try to view it in some other app and check out the route we took. Google Earth may be the easiest but I feel it's kinda ˟˟˟˟ty.

Might be quite a while before the snow melts off. I was thinking of going camping but my buddy I normally go with moved to St. Louis. I was thinking of cruising around up in Mendocino National Forest. I've been there a few times. Nothing too crazy and it isn't too snowy but there are lots of trails for some winter camping.

That sounds nice. I'm so sick of this snow already, it seems like none of the good trails are open. If you want someone to go camping with, let me know
