South Eastern Oregon
We just got back from a trip to south eastern Oregon, and man is it flooded out there. We couldn't make the trip we'd planned due to flooding. At one point there was a lake where there should have been a main dirt road. Over all the weather was crappy, and the scenery beautiful. I'd highly recommend taking a trip to that corner of the state.
We went with another forum member, and his friends from the Rover clup up in Portland. They were great people, and we had a lot of fun. We were amazed my 1700 dollar 4Runner kept up with their trucks, and covered as much ground as it did without issue.
Mud was super deep on the roads, and travel was slow and difficult at times, we did a couple water crossings, and drove through snow. I think our highest elevation was around 7k feet.
We made stops at diamond craters, the Round Barn by Frenchglenn, Willow Creek Hot Springs, Crack In The Ground, Hole in The Ground, Big Hole In The Ground, and Fort Rock, among a few other places. We will definately go out on a trip like this again. 3 days and nearly 1k miles was a tough run though.

Awesome pictures man! I camped at Fort Rock last weekend (Friday to Monday). Its an annual tradition with some friends of mine. Gopher hunting is pretty epic on the local alphalpha pivots.
