What a fun weekend. I still get excited when I see the front of Fart truck coming over the edge on that waterfall. I had a good time looking at all the different rigs out there.

So when should we do our next run?? I would be down to go back to the Superstitions or Truckhaven again. They are both a blast, and offer lots of different terrain. Maybe March would be a good month.

This weekend was fun. Everyone is super cool and our pace was very comfortable. The rabbit's foot run sounded like it was more fun than the lost dutchman run...sorry guys I guess I picked a good one.....even if I was surrounded by wranglers.

Here are my pics from the weekend. I'll get my video up as soon as I can.

Mikey, the kids were fun....nice job with the signature.....but seriously, keep her away from Hasselhoff, she's not old enough for such a serious actor.

Rob- Mikey called him Rasta at the waterfall. I have it on video....it cracked me up. Maybe I should turn my pull-it into some dreadlocks. I dig that pic of you flexin out. Absolutely Killer!

Mike was a cool guy, definitely gave John and I a lot of ideas and good advice about building an xj. I feel bad about his header. I don't know if you saw it, but we noticed it when we were airing up. Ater I jumped my rig the first time he gave it a shot and came down pretty hard. He bottomed out so hard that his driveshaft and yoke hit the downpipe on his header. It dented in the tube and ripped the zerk fitting off of his shaft. I felt pretty bad......at least he works at a driveline shop.

Mikey- Thanks, but my pics are crappy in my opinion. My girlfriend let me take out her cheap digital camera. I'll bring her out next time and she'll take KILLER pics. We'll wheel soon...you guys are my new wheelin crew. You guys are a lot of fun.

SLO-MO Deathrunner Jump

I thought it was kinda fun to check my truck as it's airborne and as it packs the suspension. Sorry, too much free time.

Why do you think that you broke the shock?

It's funny comparing our jumps....the IFS rigs seem to absorb the impact (Granted Rob and I are running some pretty stout swayaway shocks).
When I watched the SA rigs jump, there is a lot of bounce between the front and the rear. I guess it's further testimonial that although SA and IFS can do both fairly well, SA is always gonna come on top with the waterfall and IFS will be a bit smoother on the quick stuff.

Watching the jumps, my rear doesn't buck as much as I thought it did.

I really like that area, plus the drive is mellow. I'm ready to go when you are, Feb is a nice month.
