Scofco's Trail Photos - Carcross Canoe Trip (8 pics + a 1.7MB movie)
I made the best of my one day off this week, minus the wind (70km/h) it was a beautiful day out. Enjoy!

Doing the tourist thing at Emerald Lake:

The Tikko dog on his first canoe trip:

Me and Tikko taking a break before we head back:

That was the first time ever driving on a beach for me, I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a couple guys windsurfing on the lake, would have been an awesome day to do it, as the wind was just howling.

Tikko got wet? Right there, that shows the difference between a Canadian bloodline Finnish Spitz and a double-Finn bloodline FS (my Bristol). My boy would've flipped the canoe somehow scrambling in panic of the water. Then again, he doesn't care much for car travel, so I have to sedate him slightly with Rescue Remedy herb drops before any trip over 10 minutes.
Anyway, beautiful photos of a pristine place, and nice video with your's being the only tire tracks. Thanks for the eye candy!

I know!
I swore he would freak out and cry to get out, but he actually hopped right in and sat there fairly calm. He got a little antsy at times, but he was VERY well behaved.
We had to cross a little fiord on foot, and he went to walk across it like the water was shallow, I saw him suddenly drop right under the water and panick to get back on shore.
He looked like a drowned rat afterwards

It's actually a not so hot camera, a Nikon Coolpix SQ. I mostly bought it because it's insanely small. I can fit it into my shirt pocket and forget about it. That feature came in handy, as I had the camera in one shirt pocket, and my GPS in the other. You can canoe and take photos and not have to fumble around with alot of bulky junk.
That's for the location compliments
There isn't anywhere I would rather be than here in the Summertime, it's amazing here. The winter is a different story however. Grrr.

No scanner (or computer) anymore. I'll be out of commission for awhile yet.
