that last bit of rocks looks fun and the painting on the rocks. If it weren't so far, I would've come with ya. I'm gonna roll the dice and try big bear tomorrow for some snowboarding.

Lots of good trails up there! I live just a mile from SkyLine drive(where the huge white "ball" is on the north end of this range). The best time to run it is night!! Lots of wildlife normally(kit foxs, bobcat, coyotes, skunks and the occasional rabbit). Wish i could ran this with you guys, but had to work...maybe next time.

Did you guys go down that rock section or is it not a designated trail?

It was a designated trail, or as I'd like to call it, "Massive Heart Attack Hill" We didn't attempt it, but I would like to someday. I think it will be easier to climb it then descend.

Josh, Great pics and write-up...

Yea, Heart Attack Hill looked very hard corps. When we talked to two motocrossers who found it, their knees were knocking together.

It might be do-able, but I think I would want a winch cable tether from above before descending. Almost like rapelling...

nice pics!

i had SO much fun! that was by far the most fun/hardest trail i have ever attempted (that last one in the orv park). as for santiago peak, that was beautiful! best one in that class so far too!

what they didnt tell you for "heart attack hill", was i was leading. it kept getting worse and worse from the point i led from, and then im come to that... yea right!

vid and pictures will be up later today. i went to bed early last night!

The ORV park is super fun..

But it's not very big, I guess maybe 40-50 acres or so.

So, it's best to combine it with another run like we did with Santiago Peak.

There is also some good wheeling right around Lake Elsinore (my backyard).

Maybe we can run another day trip and do the ORV park and 2nd St and El Toro Canyon.

I could set that up for us some day if you guys are interested.

It finally went thru...

Seems like they need more servers with 80M subscribers...

Anyway, Here's Josh making a final pass at a dirt ledge on the way to Santiago Peak...
