Run Through Lake Arrowhead March 8th

We would like to personally thank everyone who came out yesterday! We didn't expect anyone to show up...thought it would only be a couple of us and to our surprise we ended up having 7 rigs out! That was nice!! So thank you guys for coming out!!

It was a beautiful day! One of my most memorable offroading expeditions to say the least! We all brought out what we had and took to the trails of Lake Arrowhead,CA. We only had one casualty the whole day and that was Shawns poor front differential! That left him in Prerunner Status but, he still managed to make due! Lake Arrowhead has a lot to offer beginner to medium drivers and rigs. It has a few challenging runs and dips off into Dishpan Springs for more technical run. We will be having more runs in the near future and hope to be heading up to Cleghorn soon as well. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Troy having some fun in the ruts

Scott getting in on the fun

An unfortunate mishap...Shawns diff keeled over and left him in Prerunner status(edited for underage Yotatech.com Audiences)

Yeah we made it where the JEEPS couldn't or wouldn't...TOYOTAS RULE!! Noticed the Jeeps watching how its done!

The answer is: YES Yvette made it...after some Direction in the RIGHT DIRECTION =P

What a lineup!!

There were some awesome views

Scott and Troy headed off to Dishpan Springs for a challenging run

Managed to get a little dirty

it was a good one. theres only one section that you really need to think out your line and that even has a chicken line to take. when it dries out and you have your front diff back we should try it. we ended up punching out onto the 18 past green valley lake. then got stuck in fog traffic coming down out of the mountains cause some roads were closed. i didnt get home till 930 lol

Yeah there was an accident on the 330...someone went over and started a small brush fire...They opened it up a little after 7pm. I was wondering why on the way back home there were so many cars on the 18!

Good times!

The fog rolled in as soon as we got to the edge of town, Luckily it was only heavy in some spots and got down with no issues.

Pix to follow.....
