The Rockies

Hey o Newbie here. like the site so thought id contribute

These are from Green Ridge Colorado. they rate it as 2 and 3. so not bad
but snow makes a trail about impossible. 3ft drifts and .
fun breaking trail though.

So my new old truck. 93 175k on the clock. $3000. I've done belts, plugs, 2in block in rear and es9000 all around. oh electric fan and egr disconnected.

Headed up

Breaking some trail

Stretching a little

other two could make it but not me. That was a fresh 3ft drift before we got ahold of it. up hill too. need some real tires. anyone have meaty 31's they dont want?

little open field covered. redline all day

ah HA
laid over tree was under there…

and a camp fire pit too

Taco in trouble. The trial ended where the photographer is. at least tracks ended 4wheeler tracks at that. was a little skinny and he slide right off once he tried reverse.

When in colorado make sure there is at least one winch with you.

after the reg cab almost pulled himself in 2 or 3 times the little taco was free.

another field with 3ft or so of snow redline the whole way.
got a vid or two too if you guys want to see.

to recap the trucks
Silver taco 03: 2in toytec lift, 285's, 3.4 and 7psi via TRD charger
White 97: baby lift 35's 2.7 with 7psi via t3 custom turbo. literally the guy did the whole set up from scratch!
and me in the green 4runner just got it. 2in block for rear sag and elec fan.

yeah 60 miles behind ft collins on 14. granted we couldnt go where we wanted that day. Tthe ranger page online said open and it was closed but this was 7-10 miles back down hwy 14. it was dry(er) at the bottom and got deep as we went up.

You guys in Colo huh. Bunce school was ok last week. for something a little closer to denver. saw one jeep. no pics of that trip. the white truck broke, stuck in second gear out of no where.

Then we spent half our time up there winching and pulling each other out once he broke the taco got stuck behind me. then i get stuck trying to back down. ugh…

Snow can be a biatch when its not fresh powder your plowing through.
