Pollock Pines, California

Kind of did a last minute trip up to Pollock pines with 93yotaSR5 and Kawasakimoto_7 ( he rode in my truck ) I cant begin to describe how much snow we got here in California. Roseville got an inch or two. Last time it snowed here was when i was in 6th grade. So we figured we'd drive up 50 and see what we find. And all I can say is that El Dorado hills was completely covered in snow. anyway, heres some pictures from today. I got stuck twice. Once, 30 seconds after we pulled off the freeway and once when we were leaving... had to have a jeep with a winch pull me out :/ lol

lol. Havin a little burger with your ketchup?

I picked a bad weekend to take my cooling fan off my 4Runner. Although no snow here, so I didn't miss much...

I really want to go to Pollock Pines though. I've seen more snow than that, but it was 6+ years ago.

i can't wait to go snowboarding, i still haven't gone yet this year :/

Mak92-4Rnr: you gotta get those KM2's on that truck, i saw your thread about tires and it sold me on the KM2's. as soon as i get some more money i'm throwing some on mine. not that it would do me any good with 2wd open diff. :/ it would look cool till i do my tranny swap with lockers and get some 4wd, then they would have a purpose lol.

KM2s? I posted a tire thread, but I didn't specifically say i'm gonna be getting Km2s.. heh I'm going with the Kumho KL71 tires. they're about 4-500 bucks cheaper for 33x12.50s and have a good on/off road tire reputation.

yeah we got quite a bit of snow heh. the jeep guy that pulled me out was hella cool. but a random guy in a cherokee slowed down just to talk complain. heh the guy that pulled me out was hella chill. I had to dig my tires out. before then his winch was just pulling him towards me... lol

yeah, I got out using a shovel and some guys winch haha.

it'd say it was in low - high 20s? thats REALLY cold for where we live... might not be as bad where you are... heh it was snowing when we were there.. we usually dont get snow in Roseville / sacramento area but we did the other night. Its so rare that I think the last time we had snow was when I was in 6th grade... 8-9 years ago?
