Pismo 4runner Jamboree, Oct. 12-14th, 2007 (pics)

Wow! What a weekend! Everyone, thanks for coming out and enjoying the festivities. You guys are the ones that make it truly enjoyable. I had a blast and I hope I got to meet everyone and chat, and if I missed ya. I'll just have to catch up with ya next year.

Huge thanks to Jenn and Justin (JnJ) for getting all the kids stuff together and all your help from the very beginning till the end. Thank you!

Thanks to Bob and Lance, for their organization and help at the event, without you guys I don't think I would have been able to get out and enjoy myself.

Thank you to all our sponsors for the raffle prizes and goodie bags (I think pretty much every vehicle was walking away with something). Remember these guys when it comes time to add parts to your rig.

Huge thanks to my wife April for allowing me to plan this. I know at times she thought I was :screwy: but she stuck with me. Thanks, Babe.

Thank you to Edwin from the marlin board, and Matt (one of my general contractors) for bringing out the wood. It took a major effort to burn it all, but we did it.

Thanks to all the others that pitched in and helped, couldn't have done it without ya.

TC4RNR, hopefully next time your clutch and rear window will be working better. I hope you still had fun and your runner looks great. Let me know next time you head up this way.

Let me know if you are evern up this way on a weekend, we could always get a couple hours in out there. Thanks for helping stoke the fire so we could burn through all that wood. I really didn't want to have to haul any away.

Who owns the 4Runner with the shock works bumper and the flat roof rack. The roof rack is of interest to me.

The silver one is Andries (aka Bulldog) over on toyota120.com

The dark one is JohnD also over on toyota120.com

They both have the bumper and it appears the same roofrack.

Is there a way to truncate the pictures in the img tag like Ultimateyota does?

I really don't want to shrink each pic one by one if I can help it.

Frank, there is an "insert image" thingy at the top. It is the one with the mountain on it, 4 spots to the left of the youtube thingy.

I can insert the images, they are just very large. On Ultimate, it seems to scale them automatically. My only option unless there is some nifty html code out there would be to copy each and shrink it such that it doesn't cause the viewer to have to scroll way over to read each post.

Frank, do you have thumbnails of the pics?
That is how I do mine.
Example below, click on quote and you will see the code.

Hmmmm, that's a good idea. I'll see about making some thumbnails. I was looking at other thumbnails and wondered how that was done.

Thanks!

You can buy them from the vendors right on the beach, or I think just about any offroad motorsports store.

I think you can even get some online.

If for some reason anyone still wants shirts, you can buy them through the link below:

Event T-shirts and Hoodies

April took Jack to the park the other day and he was wearing his tshirt. Apparently it got big praises from many of the mommies.

Yep! There are a few out there who weren't able to make it, but are sporting the shirts. No money being made here, just making them available to everyone now. Although those that made the event didn't have to pay shipping.
