yeah, for next year we definitely should plan at least one firm meeting time for everyone to get a chance to meet each other, and for a group shot.

some friends of mine who couldn't make it this past weekend are planning on going up to pismo in november i think. the first year we sort of had a pismo 4rj1 part 2, maybe there could be another little meet like that again this year. it'd sure be colder, but i think i might make it for a day or two.

 

LOL, you know what I meant. I think the only one talking more "garbage" than me was Steve, so I was amazed when I didn't get more lip when I was messing up in the dunes.

I hope the video has some good scenes, as I only have a few good pics.

Someone mentioned that the sand is better to drive on when it doesn't see as much traffic as the summer?

...and as for the students, how about winter break - would it be busy then?

i think that'd be a great idea. i'll be 15 minutes away come september 5. we'll definitely have to plan another trip. i would like to meet more of you guys next time. as long as it's on a weekend, i'll be there. my friend will have his sandrail too.

as for weather, it does get cold at night there... but it's not too bad. i mean, it's pretty much never NOT nice at pismo.

What time did you guys left Pismo?
I came down from Cambria...hit Goleta around 4PM...man, it was packed...all the way down till it turns to 3 lanes...then got worst again in Ventura.
