NE4ROC Ashburnham, MA Trip

though only 3 of us were there, this was an NE4ROC event

Heath and Rich have awesome tacomas and are great guys. Thanks for taking me out there!

My pics kinda suck, so I'm hoping heath will post his soon.

here they are:

Heath had a little problem with a tree stump... after i pulled him off of it, he realized he bent his skidplate.

after some creative actions (banging it with a hammer, using a jack to bend it back in place), all was well again.

the whole trail was all about big holes and water

no rear diff breather, so i was nervous, but she came through like a champ!

Nioce. Sorry I couldnt make it. My parents had 3 people call out on the busiest day of the week, so they needed reinforcements.

I saw Heath floating around Leominster 45 minutes ago...loved hte mud..

It was a good day, as soon as I can quietly slip it into conversation I will mention to my wife that I need to spend more money on a REAL skid plate.
Although the run was cut a little short it was a good day, I am getting a little tired of running these same trails though so someone had better contribute some new trails soon!
It was nice to go on a run with a coupe of people that were ready to man-up and not skip hills and mud holes, yeah thats a jab at you guys, you know who you are.
That hole by the lake has gotten nasty, for anyone who has seen it, I tried and couldn't get through this time and almost couldn't even get out, and Rich didn't do any better even with good tires and a locker. Now, on to the pics, there would have been more but Lee was so excited to get in the mud that he never gave me a chance to stop and turn around for pics so we got a couple and a couple blurry ones that I shot blind while driving.

hey guys. i am pissed i missed it, but the wedding was fun none the less. haha. i have found a few class-6 roads up in weare, nh. i went about a 100 yards in on one and decided to turn back, as i was solo, and only had a cell phone. there are two others that dump you into the power lines, so.... i am going to try to get maps of it, and see if anyone is up to join me. i work up there, so i can meet you guys on a friday night after work, or we can just all meet in goffstown center (which is right near the places). but i suppose we can discuss this on the next run, right? which day was that again? july 9th? great pics though!

alright, so there are atleast 5 trails i know of in the general area up here in new hampshire. i was also told to pick up a green book that has a listing of all class-6 roads in the area as well. i found a parks and recreation office that i am going to stop at this week (before thursday, as i leave for vegas that day! ), so i will let you guys know what is up with them. perhaps, if i can get some good info on them, we can try them on july 9th.?! anyone interested?

That was the date of the intended Ashburnham run I think, I have no problem skipping Ashburnham to head up to Weare as I have been on these trails way to much lately and I have been interested in trails up there anyway. Lee, you should make sure noone is planning on going to Ashburnham on the 9th if we are changing it to Weare. I am definitely down for new trails!

good call intrepid. that is why i wanted to get an idea as to what people wanted to do that day. i am down with the trails we did before, but as you have stated a few times recently...you are getting tired of them. i am just throwing out some options like you asked.
