NE Toyota Takeover - Rausch Creek

The trip was awesome! Wish we could have stayed longer sat and today. I was pretty happy with only braking a windshield from a flying rock (thanks state farm for the free replacement) and a nail in my tire but it got me home and should be patched tomorrow. Over all at lunch on sat the group had broken a drive shaft, mirror, and shock. Cant wait to hear how the rest of the trip went. now for some pics.

After you left we got a donor driveshaft for my rig cut it down welded it and back on the trails we went, heading for south to mess around on the christy hill climbs. we stoped by fire pit for a few runs,on my turn i started heading out of the hole and "BANG" my rear leafs seperated and the top leaf snaped in half. the axle tried to twist under its self and snapped the pinion in half
bent my drag link in to a C, bent u bolts and dented the gas tank!!!

I had to be winched out cause the broken pinion would bind going forward and that was the only way out. I drove all the way back to camp in reverse on the fronts lol. the whole group turned thier rigs around also and followed me in reverse

time for 1tons and 4link!

I came out the steep side. my rig has an should have handle that like its a pothole but the leaf pack clamp had already opened up and dual transfer torque is to much for one little leaf spring. lol

I figured you took the right hand side outta there like yotaluver did. I opted to take the left side.
