We snow shoed, my first time.

Dog even had a good time, he eventually decided just to chill in the back.

That looks like the crapper up at Greenwater on FS Road 70 about eight miles up the road, then you hang a right into the parking lot for a hike to two little lakes.

Evan's Creek ORV. With the warm temps it was really wet snow that turned to really slick ice. We were up the 2 weeks prior and ran a trail as it was not near as icy. We decided not to complete the trail we started, winch fest.

Not too shabby. Have a decent bit of snow up in Rocky Mountain National Park still for snowshoeing. Its interesting looking down through a hole in the snow and seeing the creek 6 feet down. And I prefer MSR snowshoes, I own a pair of Lightnings myself. Better side grip with the additional teeth on windblown/icy hills.

This was are first trip out snowshoeing. We got rentals, had a real good time. Elevation and conditioning kept it short. We drove up to where the truck tracks stopped, all virgin snow.
