More scenic driving
Did a little after-work scenic driving in Carnage Creek a couple of weeks ago with some guys at work:
Moments before this picture was taken, they said my fronts were very toed in.
Good thing I have the Sliderz:
These are the guys I went with. The Black Samurai (Zukatude) has Yota axles under it . The Cherokee has a full exo cage & a "Tonka" sticker.
The approach to "The Slab"
Hung up on my BudBuilt belly under my T/C on "The Slab"
Even with all the extra droop from my BJ spacers, without rear locker, and 32's, that's as far as I could get without a strap.
It ended up quite late. We were wheeling in the dark for the last 1.5 hours.

I only wish I could keep up with them. They're running 35" tires and were trying things I didn't even think of trying. OTOH, the Sammi was towed to the trailhead by an FZJ80, and the XJ only gets driven to the trailhead and back. Mine is my daily driver.

Sometimes I think to myself, "self" we are better than everyone else simply because we wheel and drive the same rig, now maybe we cant afford another vehicle specifically for wheeling so we do the best we can and that makes us better! Ok that is just my thoughts on the matter. Maybe just a shaded delusion but I like it!

Can't keep up
Here are examples of what they were doing that I didn't. First is the gatekeeper and the second is the last obstacle on Carnage Creek.
I'm not sure I want to do that much to my rig to wheel that much. I think I'm pretty much done doing mods. There are a lot of other fun things to do. I.e. check out my profile picture. Yeah that's me at Ouray Ice Park.
I'm going back this evening with the Yellow "Tonka". We'll see how much difference the rear locker & winch/TJM do. I'm still on 32" tires tho'.
