Just a Sunday Morning Drive Tenn.
I decided to go wheeling instead of going to church this Sunday. I took my bible and stopped at a nice spot to read and listen.
This is a new trail that just keeps getting bigger with each fork. I'm packing a shovel and a chainsaw to do some trail maintenance as I go.
This is the beginning of the trail seems like they start by going up hill then run along the ridges hence the name ridge runner
As I came around a bend an old memory came back. When I was a kid (70"s) there was a group of hippies "yeah we had them too". One of them was the daughter of the guy that owned Sea & Ski Sun Tan Lotion. They went up into the hills and built this communal cabin. Us guys thought it was neat cause you'd be riding you're motorcycle and then you'd come up onto girls with no cloths on
Several of this mud holes just needed to be vented off to dry them up nicely. One of them had a catfish in it and there wasn't a pond or running water anywhere close? Also the frogs where in full on reproduction mode. Funny frogs jump into the water for protection but on the trail they jump away from the mud hole so they won't get smashed by the wheels.
This trail repair it was better to fix the bypass since it was on higher ground
This is a pretty hairy mud hole the ATVs have rutted out so its passable for them. but off camber for bigger rigs. Sometimes you just have to gab a shovel and start digging
This is my dog Chunky he loves to go riding but didn't know what to think about trail riding. I had to wipe his feet off each time he got out.
This is a good example of the average obstacle on this trail.
I came upon this Grave yard out in the middle of no where. I'm thinking " ya know, I bet there are plenty of people that would like a spot like this". You'd have to have a 4wheel drive to visit.
I had been on the trail for 3.5 hours and thought this trail would lead back to the main road
And it did just we had a pretty good rain the night before and I wasn't feeling brave sooo I turned around.
Around noon I stopped and eat a Bologna sandwich here is the trash I pickup. Why do people do this I sure don't want to look at this
All in all it was a good day and I felt closer to God and the land...

There is some one that drinks Bud Lite I see his cans everywhere. I keep thinking about different things I can say when I finally run across him
