Just got back from JTree and boy was the weather nice... The trails were fun but not hard and I even got a few inches of air on Old Dale, I also got in the Dunes for the first time ever.....

Word. Nice pics and fix the link. I was out there at Christmas 2005 with my old man in a stock 2005 silverado crew cab. I forget what trail we took, but we ran it from the north side (29 Palms) of the park down through to the south side by Palm Desert. Some people were looking at us like we were crazy driving a new truck like that in some of that crap.
I miss the place sometimes.

We did 2 trails one is called Old Dale Rd the other one we did was called brooklyn Mine trail. I use the book titled
BackCountry Adventures:Southern California by Massey and Wilson
These two trails are featured in the book and have GPS coordinates along with 2-3 other trials in and around the park. If you need the information I could copy some stuff out of the book and relay it to you.
Funny you happened to comment on this thread. The day before we left on this trip, my friend Jason that was driving the black Tacoma in the pictures, was describing your 4runner and said he had spotted you around town. As he described your rig, i told him, "yep i know who your talking about I have seen him on Yotatech" Jason lives over off Molison ave. Anyhow he was admiring your rig and i have too. Let me know if you need any more info on the trails in Jtree... The park HQs will usually have maps that indicate all the trails we did...

I have the smaller offroad book...it doesnt have any trails in JT. I will go to Borders and copy the gps cords.
Thanks for the compliment on my truck. You guys should join us on our future runs.....you can be the first FJ in the San Diego crew.

Just spent the day at JT. AWESOME!!! No wheeling but got a few hikes and some bouldering in. I had a day off before I had to fly to SLC. Out on a business trip. Of course the only camera I had was on my phone. I'll look at them in a week and see if there is something worth posting.
