Just too big & heavy for wheeling, they're designed more for towing & hauling on hard flat ground. It just leaves more room for those of us who have smaller, lighter rigs!

been there, done that! left my 99 F150 overnite since it was stuck in mud up to the top of the tires. First day I took it off the lot, jumped it on some bumps and popped the bead on the right front tire, lol.

Thats Classic!
We took My landlord snow wheleling in his 3/4 fullsize GMC (02) My 4runner yanked him many a time and I have no lockers(yet)! I have a picture somewhere but not as impressive as the Sammis.
That same wheeling adventure, I had to help some guy in a f350 with bling 20's and some Big O tires out of the snow
His wife and kid just sat there in the truck while I tried to tell stupid "Stop spinning your wheels and gunning the deisel!"
I suggested later he might dump the ford and get an older LandCruiser ...

Poor Duramax Diesel... feel sorry for anything that has to live in a GM product...people included... That's pretty funny, but I never expected anything out of a Chevy anyways... Now if it were a Mopar...

Ditto on that, those trucks are made to tow/haul. The 4wd is just an added bonus for when the tires start spinnin. My dad has a 04 F-250 and got it stuck at our hunt club one day. He had to leave it overnight and have a dump truck come yank him out. My 4Runner couldn't yank him out and we burned up an 8,000 LB winch. Needless to say he bought a warn 12,000 LB winch a week later.
