Glacier Ridge - CO. 10-13-07

Mayhem & I went up Georgia pass to glacier peak, then glacier ridge on down SOB hill and out North fork of the swan to Breckenridge on a good day for wheeling...

At the top of Georgia Pass...


Heading Up Glacier Peak

And Down a little before...

The long steep ascent to the top.

At the top - 12,888 Ft.


Descending SOB Hill...

Its funny yet strange, how Im now looking at rocks as "fun" or "sexy"
The rocky part is called SOB hill. It's about a 100 yard steep section of good sized rocks. We came down it - which was fun but going up would be a fun challenge. There is a trail description here... http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=115

I have yet to try this. Have been eying it up from the Glacier Ridge side.. It's almost 2 hours from bottom of Georgia Pass to SOB Hill
