There is a lot of BLM land along Hwy 36 that is worth exploring. This area is just 30 minutes outside of the Eugene city limits.

A friend and I spent about 4 hours making this trip. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

Yes, it's a bit strange but the beauty here is very different. Up in the Northern part of AZ we have much more green.
