I was rubbing on it under full stuff so I took them off before I ripped them off and lost one on the trail someplace. I busted out Mr Sawzall today and did some mods to the flares. They are on their better now than ever before and out of the path of the tire now. I'm still gonna tear them off on the first rock I drop onto but they look purty for now.

Elvota stay tuned for TG's high volume high output PS pump to go with their HA set up. It should be out really soon. There are a few tricks to get more flow out of a stock one like drilling out the restrictor plate. I did a post about on road manners with HA on Pirate and Marlin and most said it wasn't that bad it just took some getting used to. I'm sure mine would drive better because it would also act as a stabilizer. I don't have anything on mine right now and sometimes you get some bumpsteer on surface streets.

UK, I'll watch for the TG upgrade kit. Sure seems like HA would be a nice add.

I have been lucky and my rig has performed really well from day one as far as bump steer. I will say though when I messed with my toe in a bit (reduced it slightly) I really got some better handling. Maybe something to consider double checking.

Not to speak for UKMyers, but you'll need to search and do some more research on your question. There is lot's of info out there. Also, keep in mind that swapping in a straight axle into a Tacoma is a completely different project.

Far more complex than the 2nd Gen 4Runner swap. You will have steering issues to consider, also having a DS drop on your transfer, you'll be looking at different front axles and crawlers. It can be done, but generally takes a lot more fab skills and money.

Eight feet tall, wow. That is big.
Trim some fenders. I think mine was around 7'4" or so. I finally got it lowered a bit.

Your rig looks great though, and it seems to be a solid performer.

x2 on what he said. The shop that did mine had done a Tacoma just before it. Its on 37's and looks nice. I see it a lot on campus at UNM. Anyway on a 4runner it can get pricey. I'm sure its not much better on a Tacoma and you also need to look at a lot of issues that will pop up. Btw UKMyers Nice truck. I didn't get many pictures of my 1st run on my rig (went with a few from TTORA and here), but once I'm done with finals, vacation and can do some tweaks to my rig I will have out it there again. I got a few places to go play that I know of. As far as being tippy I did notice on downhills creating more issues than I had before. Well I'm off to write my 20 page final.

For comparison, mine is still only about 7'-6" with 40s and still fits easily in my 8'-0" tall shop door.

Looks good Joey.

BIG.

With my 35" tires I can squeak into my 7' garage without airing down. So, with 37" tires, I'm probably about 7 feet and 1 inch tall. When I air down for the trail, I'm under 7 feet tall.

I just threw 8 foot tall out there. Keep in mind my roof rack adds about a foot to the height. From the ground to the top of my roof is only 6'7"
