Fall Colors II - Tellico ORV - 9-16-05 PICS

The original plan was to run the bypass @ Guardrail and Helicopter Pad and possibly go up Slickrock if we had the time. Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't agree and dumped about 2" of rain on the trails the night before and continued to rain until about 11am.

Those obstacles are bad enough w/o the rain, so we did 4 to 6 to 1. We stopped for lunch at Fains Ford and played on the ledges there a bit. We didn't stop to take many pics.

Less Pics = More Wheelin' Time!

here's a sample:

Bald River Falls. North of the ORV between State Line Campground and Tellico Plains, TN.

I went to the north pay station and then took 1 down to the cabin. the north pay station is about 1.5 hours from my house compared to 2.5 hours to drive to Murphy via interstate and then along the tellico river and then up to the cabins.

where 6 comes back out onto 1 is where the pay station is.

the falls are about 10 or so miles north of the pay station on paved road.
