Well, we pretty much had the whole campground to ourselves Friday night. I guess other people look at the weather report. Well, we had this planned when it was supposed to be 70 and sunny. Didn't really play out that way.
CodyX36 (and his GF, very cool gal BTW) and myself met up in Bonney Lake and headed out early to make sure we could save a couple camping spots, since Josh and Levi weren't coming til after they got off of work. Had everything set up at the site around 4. So I headed back down the hill with both Cody's and my cell phones to see which one would catch a signal first. I guess at Evan's, T-Mobile beats AT&T, hands down. Notified the guys we got a spot for them, and then we proceed to wait.
And wait.
And wait.
Finally at 11:30pm we decide something must have happened and we figured we would call it a night, and hope they would show in the morning. Just as I was getting warm in my sleeping bag do we hear a couple rigs pulling in. The headlights aimed directly through my windows was a dead giveaway. I reach up, turn on my cb and hear "good morning, sunshine!!" LOL. Death Cougar and Truckfiend made the trek.
Ended up having a good time and grilled up some fajitas and had some beers til about 2.
Morningtime brought a couple more rigs. Aristhylia, BigBluePile and Birdbrain also showed up, and another 4Runner (James) showed with his sweet SAS'ed first gen sitting on 37's.
Head out on the trail. Seemed pretty easy. Heard "I'm still in 2 wheel" over the CB. The mud caught up quick. Fun trails, LOTS of mud and some good folks made for a fun day.
The vid you see Logan having to tow me over that stump was a mother of a spot. I believe Logan has a vid of me trying to get over it, hitting the root, and popping straight up in the air instead of forward. Bummer. But overall, I was pretty darn impressed how a stock rig on 31's, no lift, and open differentials handled in all that mess.
Charged up the camera before I left, and got 8 whole pics before it died.
Camping site
about 20 feet behind Deathcougars campsite...
And on Friday we did a little scouting checking out the map and where the trails were and came across this.......... Take a peeksies, Scuba!
And it was 55 and overcast at the campsite, which is about 3500ft. Didn't take us long to get in the sunshine and get that view at about 4200ft.
And one last one for good measure.
Had a couple casualties....... My E-fan had a problem and had to run the A/C to keep the fan engaged, and my CB decided to crap out. I could transmit out, but could not hear a soul. Good thing I brought the hand-held as a backup.
And thanks for starting the thread, Levi!! Pics look great, I like Josh almost laying on his side!!
Thanks to everyone who showed....

The camping was decent. The sites were more spread out then I had expected. The only thing that sucked was seeing all the litter thrown around.
Also, it looked as though it was all motorized vehicles, as the trails were spread out. But I only say that bc we only saw quads and 4x4's running, probably due to the bad weather.

Ohhh ohhh ohh! I have some Glamor shots!
Line up, Levi, Josh, Jacob? (Cant remember), myself.
Here comes Cody.
One of the trails. Logan and I take the harder path. Yeah buddy! :-)
Logans Ass.
MONEY SHOT!
This is were we decide its probably a good time to air down.
Madelyn is out!
Evan is up!
I think after I did this. I said V6 power. And Josh said, "Until you blow your head gasket.". :shake:
If you guys want any FULL resolution pictures please let me know and I will upload them. They are all 15 megapixels. So each file is about 5-10 megs per picture.
