Another last minute trip. Finished our finals and decided to go snow camping. Our initial plan was to camp near the Mormon Emigrant Trail, but there was way too much snow and we couldnt reach our usual campground, so we camped near Icehouse Rd.

Yeah it was pretty cool. Pretty cold up there too.

And yeah that was one good meal we had during the trip. lol The rest of the trip, it was chicken noodles or top ramen.

lol I mean I wouldnt do it again, but we didnt let the weather bother us.

It was just to get away from the books and the traffic. ha

Lol you coulda mentioned to all of us nor cal peeps you were going! me and 93yotaSR5 have been deciding whether or not to go snow camping.

Sorry Mak92: It really was last minute. Right outta class and then into our trucks. ha

I am planning to go camping again in January or February and I will let everyone know. Maybe during this Christmas break us Nor cal guys can get together and do a one day snow run.

mmmm, ribs....makes me hungry

keep us all informed of when this snow run will happen. i'm sure there will be PLENTY more snow come the new year, especially after this storm lol. kinda glad we don't live in the midwest or we'd be "snow wheeling" to go basically anywhere.

if anyone is a member of ca4wd, there is a winter fun fest in grass valley. i will be attending for sure( its my b-day weekend ) i think its 80$ sounds like a good time. check out the site. ca4wd.com
