A day trip to Uwharrie (dial up beware)
Made a quick trip to uwharrie national forrest Saturday.
Had a great time teaching the in-laws what their Jeep is really capeable of
Here are some pics;
The stock Jeep did well and thy are looking forward to doing more in the future.

Actually the nut is hard to get to with the winch and all. I tried to tighten it Friday, but it wouldnt budge. I will pull the bumper off soon and get it tight again!

I usually head to Uhwarrie twice a year with the isuzu/honda/toyota/ anything goes group from the wire. Already have my season pass. 5+hr drive for me though.

Well URE is 3+ hours for me and its the closest place for me to get to. : )
I am down for that run, as soon as I get my rig fixed from this last weekend.

No trail damage, but the passenger side hub stayed locked in after I unlocked it. that meant that the front drive shaft was turning on the highway. The drive shaft let loose (U-joints) half way home and destryoed itself and some other things that were under there like the fuel lines! . They arent leaking right now, but they are damaged enough to need replacing.
the rear locker is totally gone now and has to be removed and replaced with a new one. We were lucky to make it home the way it was.

Did the Jeep take the same line you did on those last few pics, or did it swing to the left? Is it a Rubicon that they have? I would be impressed if they took the same line as you with a stock Jeep.
