Corral Canyon 6/4/05

Finally made it out to Corral Canyon today--funny that I have been wheeling all over So Cal for the past couple years and haven't been there until today.

Went with Eric (echamberlin) and his buddy rode shotgun.

I had a little trouble early on in a mud pit and climbing some rocks after a water crossing, only to find I had not locked my hubs

Here are some pics-

Got to get some pose shots

Marc is being real modest. He nearly did the entire run in 2WD. Good times though!
Thanks Marc, hope to hit up some other trails we talked about. I will post some more pics asap

Damnit, I want to hit that run. What would you compare it to difficulty wise?
Was it as twisty as Carvacre?

Carveacre is shorter and harder than the trail we did. Corral Canyon has more choices, more bushes, and a wrecked Taurus you need to get around.

Seth, you would like it, we will do it again.

What's with this ass-sag?

Did you have a full tank or a bunch of crap in the cargo area?

And Marc's truck w/out hubs locked in front is still locked in back, so 2wd isn't accurate. I've actually run most of carvacre that way (locked rear/in 2wd)
I don't want any true 2wd (open diffs) thinking they could easily make the trail.

Looks like another nice area to check out. I have yet to be there and didn't make the TTORA run for the area.

I haven't checked the boards in a long while but I'll be around more frequently.
