cleghorn in california 28jan07 (56k warning)
i went to go see what everybody was talkin about ..and this is what i found.
a view looking at mt.high (socal people know)
looking over silverwood lake
here are some more pics from cleghorn in california
my runner showing some swagger
trust me it looked steeper than this lookiing at it from both ends
the runner pushing it hard as it can.... now i know it can go anywhere
after a hard day of work... we have a chance to relax and look at the scenery

dude.....I was up there too today. I was rolling with the pathfinders since Pat never showed up. What time did you hit the trail?
We left the trail head at 10AM.
Here's my pics from today:
Oh yeah....I was wondering why my truck wasn't riding right on the way back to the freeway....looks like I inverted my rear shackle. I jacked it up with a high lift, used a 3' breaker bar to bend it back into place, then lowered the truck. It kinda went back into position. I climbed onto my sliders and rocked it back and forth and it eventually settled into position. I was worried for a moment that I had really bent the springs.

Jason, Nice Pics...
Do you know what your static shackle angle is?
I want to move my shackle mounts back to get a more vert angle.
BUT... I want to avoid the invert problem.
The Pathy's look good. Did any of 'em break?

LOL... second funniest thing ive seen all day.
funniest was: driving back to school, someone was on the side of the road picking up pieces of furniture that flew off the back of their truck. this lady was wearing not so flattering grey pants.... looked like a baby elephant. funniest thing today!
but i digress. i dont see any pics of where i got stuck... i went and bought a new recovery strap (no hooks, just loops) and an air compressor. ill get to use them the 24th!!!!

I never got my driveshaft lengthened after moving my axle forward....so at full droop on the passenger side, it falls apart. Only happened on this gnarly line I tried. Same thing happened to one of the pathfinders later on down the trail

I'm not sure exactly what it is....i'll PM you some pics when I get a chance to snap a couple.
One of the Pathfinders had the same problem I did.....front drive shaft not long enough. Other than that, no breakage. Only damage the group incurred was new pinstripes on the paint.

My fault guys...I got in a car accident early Sunday morning heading to the trail. On the 105/605 some idiot merged into me and bent my right rear wheel. I almost flipped too because my front swaybar was already disconnected. I don't have a full size spare so I couldn't make it. Stupid me forgot to get all your phone numbers off the internet. I planned the run too and wasn't able to make it, I was bummed.
Did that IFS pathfinder make it through the ditch?
