Carnage 2-25
Ric, with Crux riding shotgun, and i went to carnage today so i could work out the bugs in some of my new junk. It was very slick, and we got to go skating in the trucks. It was nice when i got stuck trying to back off of something, as Ric was able to push my whole truck sideways on the ice by himself. It was a good time, and ric and crux should have their pictures soon. Unfortunetly, i have only a few that came out, it was very dark, so a bunch of the pics were too blurry.

Had a good time yesterday. That was one cold and icy canyon tho, lol.
A lot of my pics came out blurry too unfortunately, so I tried to pick the best ones.
Ric got a little hung up on his diff here
Some of those ice holes were a foot or more more deep!
Axle almost slid into this tree... in slow motion, lol
A completely stock toyota pickup needed a little tug up the chute.
Ike getting a little Carnage on his new bumper in Carnage Canyon

It spit out fuses all day long. Pretty annoying really. It would work for one charge, but when the compressor would need to recharge, the lights on the switches would get all dim, and then the fuse would blow. However, when it worked, it was go time, and that was a nice change.

When we went 2 weeks ago it was a skating rink just like that. I swear I woulda thought with the warm weather it would have melted more down there. I did a 360 on the ice patch AFTER the switchback and before the end) That's when we decided to drag the 2 broken drive line rigs... BACK down the waterfall.... instead of up through the end... LOL
Looks like ya had fun.

You didn't miss anything, Flygt wasn't there as i didn't call him, my bad.
It wasn't a posted run, i had some stuff on it's maiden voyage, and i only wanted one or two more folks so someone could bail me out but no one else so that i wasn't holding up a bunch of trucks if i blew up.
It woulda melted if we hadn't had that big freeze a week ago and all that snow.
It was a skate rink, and both of us turned the trucks sideways a couple times. At one point, my truck stopped going forwards and starting moving to the left on its own, but stopped before it hit a tree.
Walking on it was harder than driving actually.
I forgot to add my thanks to crux for taking pictures for us...Brian, you are a phenomenal photographer, and your pics are outstanding as usual. Thanks man.

If you do get plates, then you know you can test them out on that rock
the skidplates are next on my list.

My tires are 33 x 12.5 BFG AT's, though i will probably go to the 10.50's if i get bfg's again, or i will go to MT/R's
Suspesnion is kinda wierd, 3" lift springs from downey in the rear, with 3 inch longer than stock shackles to correct pinon angle, with bilstein 5100 series shocks for a total of 4.5 inches of lift. However, since mine had such wicked butt sag, that was only about 2 inches of lift over level.
The front is just BJ spacers w/ OME torsion bars relaxed back past stock so the ride is much nicer. It also has a Sonoran Steel IFS brace, which helps with alignment. Thats it.
