For those who missed out, everyone who participated did a great job of cleanning up a terrific spot to wheel. There was 6 rollaways on site and we about filled them all up. The lunch was good and there were many prizes in the raffle. I had 2 winning tickets and won a free subscription the 4wd Toyota Owners magazine....

Afterwards a group of us hit the trails, unfortunately I had to turn around when someone noticed a leak. It turned out to be my power steering rack....bummer. Once I made it back to camp, I packed and headed home. So my weekend wheelin was cut short...... At least I have a spare rack in my shed.

I'm bitter....with the number of YT members in so-cal....three of us showed up? WTF is that? It gets better too......there's a YT group wheeling cleghorn half an hour away...how lame. I'm glad I don't have any Yotatech stickers on my truck because I would be out peeling them off with a razor blade right now.

Dont be bitter Jason...there are quite a few of us here that would have been there if it was possible. It looks like there were more than enough people out there.

I thank you guys that went. It shows the "greenies" that wheelers are not the problem.

Calico is on my list of places I want to go....we can have our own cleanup run there in the future.

Except it still needs more work, it couldn't make climb in the photo's. A shackle flipped, he busted the drivers side mirror and put some pretty nasty scrapes down the left side. He definately needs a crawl box and some way to handle the axle wrap.

As for my attempt, I would have never made it as well, not enough breakover clearance. My power steering blew a seal so I had to back out as well.....

jsnby, you may want to edit your post and remove the flip-off dude, that can get you

Throttle it down brother. As Marc stated - those of us that truly do care would have made it had our schedules worked out better. Personally I had some obligations with my son and couldn't go. Please don't assume that just because we didn't show that we could care less about the lands we wheel on. Quite the opposite is true......if I can speak for the boys. And as Bruce TS stated earlier you might want to take the FU off of your post. This is YotaTech and not TTORA (no offense Shannon).

Even though I'm a noob here, let me say that i would have loved to go out to Calico (if I had the time), but being that I only had a few hours free on Saturday and I live 15 minutes away it gave myself and Alguard a chance to wheel a little and learn our vehicles (we've only been back at this for 3 weeks). For what it's worth, I picked up trash along the way, so it sounds like we had 2 areas were covered.

We'll see you at another run i'm sure.
