Big Milestone for the runner! (PIX!)

Before I explain.... I bought this truck 2 years ago for $600, It had 199,972 miles on it when I got it, and since I've owned it, I have only had to replace plugs/wires, ball joints, an idler arm, and built a bumper for it. I also had to get a donut gasket for the exhaust, and just recently gutted the cat....

This past week, I went on a wilderness camping trip up near the Canadian border in north western Maine, just to get to our campsite was 75 miles on dirt logging roads, thru-out the trip, we travelled about 300-350 miles on these logging roads, a couple of these "roads" were a bit scary... not because I didnt think the rig could make it thru some of the washouts, or the "mud holes" but because I had the whole family with me, and nothing more than a come-along, and chains..... we were several miles from cell srvc, and if we did get stuck, would have to hope there was a logging crew within cb range....and that they would be willing to help...lol Anyway... we didnt get stuck, or break down(which is why I own yotas to begin with).

On the 3rd day, on one of these "roads" I hit this important milestone...

How many other vehicles can u take to the wilderness with 250k on them, and NOT have to worry about making it out?

Anyway... ya, I have 3 of these things, and all of them have well over 200k on them.... I just cant say enough how good a vehicle these things really are.... NO WAY IN HELL would I ever even consider taking a chevy or ford with over 150k on them out there, let alone 250k.... and I wouldnt take a dodge out there even if it was brand new

So sorry to waste everyones time, but like I said...I love these rigs, and I want everyone to know what they are capable of ( and I guess I just wanted to brag about what I got for $600 2 years ago...lol

Heres a couple of pix of neat stuff we saw along the way.... and the rig of course....

300 + miles on these roads....I think I need ball joints again.... and if u ever go up there, and its warm out.... u better have working ac.... I kept the windows open for about 3 miles, before everything in the truck was covered with the road dust.... I had a head cold for the rest of the week

I did a lot of fishing up there, I DID catch a ton of brookies, but the biggest was only 12", and I tossed all of them back (we were too far from camp to bring them back), and didnt bother to take pix of the fish, but did take plent of the fishin holes....

one of the locals.... we saw about 25 of these guys on this trip... only managed to get a couple pix tho... I only have the 1 for now, but when my gf gets the pix off her camera, I'll post some of the bulls we saw...

Thats it for now.... viva la toyota !!!

Heres a couple more.....

This was a sketchy bridge... I really didnt want to take the rig over it, but I DID want to see the big canyon just up the road.... so we did it.... luckily, without issue.

And here are a couple of the young bulls we saw....
