Looking for some opinions on the Bear Valley Loop trail up near Truckee. I'm going to be up at a cabin in Truckee this weekend with some friends and was thinking I might wish to check out the trail while I'm already in that area. Check things out, take some pics, have some lunch, chillax, etc. I'd most likely be there Sunday 11/23. It looks like a pretty chill, medium-rated trail with optional difficult lines. I think it would be good for my truck and a few of the stock rigs that will be chillin' with us up at the cabin.

So yeah, I think I'm going to go anyways, but hoping to hear some opinions of the trail if possible since there is not much info on it besides that on Nor Cal TTORA and in the Nor-Cal Backroad & 4wd Trail book.

Know of any other good spots in that area?
