badlands trip with the fj cruiser team
this last weekend I went with the ih8mud/hoosier cruisers/fjcruiser team to the badlands and had a blast. These little fjcruisers are impressive. Here is a large album taken by the toyota photographer.

Ok there, 4rnr.
I saw a bunch of pics of the non new FJ's on the trails but only saw more "Look at me in my FJ! I love these things!" shots than action shots except that one ditch.

well they werent "getting it" in pugatory, but they did do well. the hill ascent system works well, in fact I never saw a diff open up, even when they unlocked the rear. No its not an fj40 on 37s, but it will stand up to ANY stock 4x4. The only down side I saw was due to brake over angles and all terrains. but hey they are selling a new truck not a rock crawler. Im not saying they are the best thing since sliced bread, but in a world of "trail rated" mall crawlers they stand above.
