Wonderful set of pictures, Chris! You told the story very well. I had seen a few pictures from this trip on 4WDTrips previously, but the rest of the ones you have here gives a lot more insight. Really cool stuff, and glad you guys had another awesome trip!

I just found Scott's galleries he posted. I guess I am just a little late! Scott, if you happen to check in here, you came away with a bunch of cool stuff, too!

Thanks guys!

Jon, "wild" in a sense probably, but I'll bet they're branded and belong to one of the ranchos there. That is one cool thing I love to see in Mexico, there seems to be no shortage of free-roaming horses. It's really cool when you come across them out in the middle of nowhere.

Excellent photo albums! Really makes me want to get out of the midwest and move south to more 'interesting' lands

Breathtaking pics BajaTaco!

Dear BajaTaco,

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics from your trip. Some of the pics look like they came right out of the National Geographic magazine! How did you manage to get so close to the wild horses? Nice work!!

Thanks so much!

I just got back from another trip - much further south in both Chihuahua and Sonora. I will have to get some pics put together. Here's one of 'em - a shot of the Copper Canyon railroad near the Temoris depot. The railroad does some amazing stuff to get through this section of canyons.
