4/17/2010 Tahuya trip
I thought I would post on here. Today was pretty wet outside so it was muddy. But hey, mud makes it fun right? I went with my brother and a few of his friends. I'm waiting to get a few photos/pics from my brother and his friends, but I can post up some of my pics that I took.
My brother running over some rocks in the water. Silly Jeeps love rocks.
My brother up front, One of his friends in the Tacoma, and Me in the back.
I went through this as well.
Jeff's (Brother's) Jeep flexed out.
Yep, I got stuck. Doh. I had my rear tire on it, and it slipped off. Doh!
Jeff trying to climb over some huge rocks.
And he got stuck.
Jeff going throw a unknown puddle.
This is were he crapped himself.
I decide to take a bath.
Look at the splash!!! :-D
One of our friends.

Looks good, dude. Anything without a ton of standing water?
Dang, might have to get on those breathers real quick if not. LOL.

Climbing hills. There were a few good hills to climb. Some that were pretty tough. But yeah, defiantly a bit of standing water. There were only a few deep places. When I get some more pics, Ill post them.

You know, I've never been there. But my brother was like, "Wow there are alot of poeple here." We had to wait for a couple of people to cross like once. It didnt really bother me at all. Over all I got to see how the 4runner could handle the trails. However I understand that Tahuya is pretty mild. We hit a couple of trails that were pretty nuts tho. a couple that I am very surprised that I could make.

Jason get your diff breathers on slacker.
Tahuya is a GREAT place to check out the function of your rig and get comfortable with how it handles....
Good pics, looks like fun!!

I use to ride quads out there when i was a kid. One of the reason i stop going there is because of the water. dont go there after a good rain. But now that im more into wheeling i might have to take the yota out there and see whats up. looks like fun!!
