Headed out for another day trip with the folks. Hit snow right off the bat, and the winches came in handy. Have a look!!
Neighbors sent me this pic during the day. Dog, not a wheeler, so they let him nap in their basement. lol. wuss.

Little bitty non powered mirrors make reversing down a snow covered trail a little difficult. Smile!!
took another gratuitous shot while waiting for the winching to commence....
Bird taking over cooking duties. So far, no reports of anyone sick. Anyone know how to cook a hot dog?
Weird, the machine with a handful of goodies.... Butterfinger hot cocoa, anyone?
Vitaly running up an electrical tape trail fix after bashing a tree or 2

Ugh, whatta day!
I didn't get many pics, too busy doing other things, but here's what I got. The snow was very slick and packed hard. Airing down was VERY necessary and siped tires(for me, anyways) would have made for better traction. Great day all together!! LOTS of experienced gained and a NEW winch broken in!! Thanks to all that showed up, again, great to see you all!! Can't wait till the next run!!
Staging area, mosted aired down here. The snow was easy here but as we got into the deeper trails it got LOADS deeper!!
I also(due to improper winch maintenace) creased and screwed up my cable. So, looks like I'll be cutting it down.
The BBQ area
Got home and found this nice FAT oil leak...ugh...

Umm, I believe I ALMOST got away with T-bagging Cody's bumper. Why you gotta make it all obvious and stuff?

Easy, Easy. I saw photobucket in the address and just pasted it. I believe you have had days your brain just didn't work right. RECENTLY, I might add.

Two recommendations.
Synthetic winch rope (like someone else suggested).
Tire chains, though probably overkill, would make short work of those kinds of conditions.

Had chains with me. Never needed em. For the most part, airing down did fine. Most problems for folks were before they aired down.
