1200 would be good but keep the tire size change in mind. If I ever have to put another one in I think I will go with the 1600 lb for these 33's.

http://www.marlincrawler.com/clutch/heavy-duty

looks like i have the choice of either 1200 or 1800 ('93-'95), and everything else ('79-'92) has either 1200 or 1600. not sure if i'll need an 1800... time for me to search around!

There's no chance you just need to add fluid or something is there?

I think with good spotting and the right lines, we could make it up. I would prefer to have better skid plates than just the stock one though. The Heeps were banging stuff left and right. A locker would be helpful too....

I didn't really want to break mine on it's first trip out. It would've been sweet to show those Heeps that open diff Yotas could get up though!

My pic's of the rightcoast crew.

Like Knucklehead said most of us were the same spot as you guys at one point. Its natural progression for some. I've been wheeling the same rig since 96

Thanks for taking that photo. It's the only before group photo that was taken. You can see what I meant with the trailer setup.

stock here (+ aal's and t-bars) on street tires, and made it through all the green trails, eventually. the only thing i broke was the steering column shell from hitting my knee on it ... you should have no problem doing the stuff i did, knowing when to ask for help, and knowing the limits of your rig

glad to hear from you... hope all is well, and yeah... we all missed you (in a "we want to see your rig, and you" sort of way)

nope. it's the clutch. it's been in there since before 133k miles (currently at 179k, total of 46k). i checked the fluid, it's full. it chirps when almost engaged (pedal out), so i'm pretty sure it's the clutch

irab88 we were talking about yellowjacket, the rest of that last obstacle I did on saturday. I went back on sunday to run that little section again, but seriously thought about doing the rest of the trail. That's the one Josh said he broke on last time he did it with just the rear locker.

wow. just was able to review the last few pages. great pics and I did watch some of the videos (not all, I admit).

after last year, I was thinking my truck is certainly not built enough to navigate and drive home after a day at Rausch. Ian, you proved me wrong....that's awesome.

having my own set of issues currently, I would love to get down there with you guys for a nice relaxing day, but it seems that everything I do, or plan, comes with a hitch or a tight time-frame.

enough whining.

looked like a great time guys.
