1st trip with SAS to Carnage Boulder
That was a fun trail! What a difference wheeling with a SAS and all the right components.
SAS, dual Tcase and a bunch of other goodies!
I took it easy on most of the stuff until I felt a little more confident with my truck and the way it handles. I did crack my passenger side fiberglass fender on the water fall but no big deal.

Well, it started off with a Total Chaos Long arm suspension, bislteins and other IFS mods with Glassworks fiberglass all the way around. Went wheeling with some people up at Carnage in Buena Vista, did not do the trail due to the fact that it was IFS and I am sure it would have broke something and or caused alot of unwanted damage.
Went home and researched SAS conversion and here I am. Swapped out the heavy ARB bumper to a All Pro tube bumper, sliders and tube doors from some guy in the south, removed the bed and installed a home made flat bed, clocked the rear for my 5 inch trail gear springs, custom rear drive shaft, 4:1 t case mated to Trail gears dual t case, 23 spline output shaft due to the fact I have a 1987 22ret, Trail gear heavy duty dual tcase skid plate, home made front square tubing drive shaft with CV, front axle from a 1985 rebuilt with all Trail Gear stuff, not locked at this time, 5 inch front springs, 5100 series bilsteins 14 inch, 38.5 swampers on stock rims, removed the bench seat and installed Toyota buckets, unk year, kept the front fiberglass fenders for now until I break them off or exoskeleton it, Tru trac rear locker for the rear, the front end is open as of this time. I think thats it but I still have alot to do.
Oh yeah, heck no I wouldn't go solo, I was nervous as heck as it was. Had a friend go with that has all the tools and welders just in case. I took it really easy and did not push the truck at this time. Just making sure everything is working okay.
