1st road trip in the Taco!

woot woot- took my 'new' baby on it's virgin voyage~1200 mile round trip nashville>chi-town or bust! you'll see, i love to tell stories.. (blablablabityblablabla)

know all you photo hounds woulda seized this shot-

this is my taco right on the edge of Lake Michigan- east side-(not chicago side)- the sand had blown about 150 ft into the parking lot. couldn't resist.. this is right after the park police ran me off the sand for doin 4wd spins!! lol!

wind is blowin at least 25mph here- sand blasted myself gettin this blurred shot of the white caps

the OG TACOMOBILE- woot woot!

nother screwed up photo opp.. hey, i tried!

randomness:

you can see the chicago steel mills in the lh far distance.

know this gets a lil off topic as far as taco's and off roadin'. sorry.. but, if i took a pic, i was in the Taco..

funny tidbit= i didn't notice till i was admiring the shot above that my center caps were gone on that side-went outside and looked. i'd been jacked of all 4 of my center caps at either the hotel or a bar i went to.. geeeeezz!!

bet that was a kharma hit. i shouln't have poked fun at so-n-so's mistake!

goin home

blowin by the steel mills on I94
raced and beat this stang in indianapolis

almost home!!

as the dumdum (tomtom) says..
"you have arrived at your destination"... nashville @ dusk

thanks for lookin..
enjoy!

thanks man- i went solo in my 'new' taco- no spare man to assist me if it broke down.. DIDN'T NEED ONE! hahaha

oh oh oh oh whatta feelin'

btw- Sally V needed new shoes when i got her- got a helluva a deal on new goodyear wrangler rt's $88 a piece for 265/75 r16...
we mount them here-
had them balanced off and then on the truck- by Turner & Osborne Tire in columbia.. road awesome at any speed.
not much tire noise from these tires either..

it was a nice time alone with my TACO
