10 New things I learned in Moab

1) If you are going to roll your rig, pick something harder then the "approach" to the obstacle.

2) Then consider that if you are going to roll it, make sure cameras are rolling, and you don't just get the after shots.

3) Wear your SEATBELT. (I got the smack down on that one!) I normally put it on when doing harder obstacles but um... I did not have it on when I rolled. My friends are scarred for life as they saw a bunch of crap fall out of my sunroof and though for sure I was coming out too. Luckily I thought fast and braced myself but still! Oh and be sure to land rubber side down!

4) I am stronger than I thought. Because I had to drive off of Hells Revenge after the roll and I did. (To a great amount of support from TacoToy, Blown4Runner, 3TRDMARINE and TC)

5) Make sure you share your tippy juju with your friends (TacoToy on Moab Rim)

And then jump up and down on his bumper for more heart attack feelings. (Kidding)

7) Take a day off after something like that and crawl around on someone elses rig. (Bling Taco's!)

8) Then have fun while watching Bling Taco and 3TRDMARINE fix a fried battery.

9) Have a classic Moab Toyota Bonfire! But smack yourself upside the head for accidentally lighting Nicole on fire in the process...

10) Get back in the saddle when all is said and done and run Pritchett. But thank your lucky stars that Bling Taco is there to drag you up shizzy when it gets dark and your rock lights and winch use are killing your alternator....

(Sorry no Pritchett pics yet)

Wow, talk about taking the bad with the good.

Glad you were OK, rollovers are BAD news!

The truck was structurally ok. My ego a little bruised. (Well not to mention my shins in the roll). But nothing as little bondo can't fix

If your gonna have a roll over. Have one like mine! (But with the seatbelt)

Also, in that hole you rolled into, arn't those the so called "hot-tubs and are normally filled with a few feet of water?

IDK, never been to MOAB.

Well actually you'd come out happier if there was water in there (no seat belt), except the hot part...

How does that water get warm anyways, just sun?

After all has been said and done, I am glad you made it out alive, could have been worse! I haven't seen such a crazy roll over ever! Someone was watching out for you, for sure.

EDIT: I like your tips! I'll keep that in mind if I ever go to Moab. Oh, and good job on keepin' your composure!

Wow Molly, that sucks! At least you made it through ok! I always wear my seatbelt, geuss I am just a wimp like that, haha. Now you can move on in the world of wheeling, the proper progression after a roll is to turn your junk into a truggy, get to work! Which way did you go over?

As I was driving down into the tub from this approach...

My angle was off. I slipped on some sand and then caught a lip. I let off the break to try and ride it but too late. She tipped over to the driver side first (Rear passenger wheel came up way to high and threw my gravity over the top ands down) Note to self... limmiting straps! So I rolled into my driver door and over that way.

And a sense of humor is key in this. Otherwise I doubt I'd ever wheel again. LOL

gas, campfire, Mols and beer = 2nd degree burns... those are four things I'd rather of not experienced... LFMAO... now on the other hand having one awesome spotter/nurse/emotional support (ie: Bling Taco) was something I couldn't of been happier having... ooh and vicodin at the hospital

Glad you're OK... Glad your truck's OK... But I'm still trying to get my head around what you had to do (even with the description) to roll into that tub???

And yeah, they're called Hot tubs cause the sun heats the water up in them... they're just pits with Puddles... and the water... it ain't all that hot all that often it's more of a visual thing... Moab's great and thank god you have a yota with a frame and not a Cherokee, it'd be toast eh.

As for the fire thing... see people like you keep people like me in buisness...
"drive fast and pass on the curves... we thank you for your suport" "lol"

Looks like you had to make an 100 point turn to get back straight again to get out of there.

Any mechanical damage to anything?

Two words...

EXO CAGE!
