After Market Electrical Issues '88 Toyota Pickup
Hey guys, I've seemed to have ran into a problem that I'm not quit sure what to do from here. I have some off-brand KC lights and an amp that I'm trying to connect to my battery and they don't want to work for me. So I decided to thoroughly clean my battery and make it top notch in cleanliness. After I hooked everything back up they still do not work. I had the off-brand KC lights working before I got the amp, and can get them to work sometimes if I'm lucky and move the positive cable around until I find a good connection. The post is very clean so I'm confused on why I have to do this. All the fuses are good, I have a 30 Fuse on the Amp power cable and a 35 in the amp itself, and in the off-brand KC lights cable it has a glass fuse that works fine. Although the After Market electrical do not work, the stock do, the headlights come on, and the stereo, Cab lamp, running lights do work.
The flat red cable connects the off-brand KC lights.
The glossed red connects the amp.

My friend got it fixed, he thought it might be a grounding problem. So we unscrewed the ground then screwed it back in Apparently the ground was faulty. Thanks for the look though.
