Today I fabbed up the the rearmost support that attached to the crossmember I had built a long time ago. I've decided to cut down the skid plate to 27 3/4" and angle up the sides, so I've still got quite a bit of stuff to do on it yet.

It's finished and trail tested at Tellico. It passed with flying colors! Hopefully I'll get some pics up soon.

Seaflea might even have a better tank for us to use on the next go around that's out of a mustang.

Stay tuned for his buildup!

Stay tuned for some more pics tonight, hopefully. I should have some before and after pics of the new front crossmember. I've decided not to use the FROR crossmember for now, and simply use a short 6" piece of 3x2x3/16" tubing, and 2.5' of 3x1.5x3/16 tubing, which will result in the bottom of the new crossmember being 1/2" above the frame rails.

I'll also take some final pictures of the gas tank/gas tank skid too.

Here they are, completely flat undercarriage at least all the way back to the lower control arm frame mounts. Those will eventually be gone too, but too many projects before that happens.

Not great pictures being that it was in my garage, but it gives you an idea, at least.

Just be careful leaving the windows up if you're smelling gas. sounds dangerous to me!

I leave my back window cracked at least 2 inches and all my side windows down about vent shade height. I don't have carpets and my drain plugs are all pulled in the cargo area. It only smells after I fill up now. btw now people are scared to smoke in my unit.....

That's not such a bad problem. It definitely is the optimum setup for clearance, that's for sure.

Thanks! I'd appreciate being able to see them too. Your set up sounds like it was awesome!

I'm sorry guys. I started to get them back up, and then got sidetracked. Can you email me at chris@utvrally.com and I'll probably just email them to you to save me some time.
