bent torsion rod mount

My suspension was sinking, it took a bit of messing around and I finally found the source, where the torsion rod bolt pulls the torsion lever down, the metal on the frame is bending inwards, causing less torsion, causing a sinking suspension. My rig is set up for baja with TC in front, so it see a fair bit of abuse. Has anyone found a good mod to make this connection stronger?

Like Snap-on said. more welds. Iwould think a couple of gussets would work wonders for it.

While you are at it, post up some pics of this. I am curious to see where it is coming apart.

I have ifs in the front end with a 12" chaos system. So far ive only busted one front axle, and it was because i landed with my wheel cranked to avoid a drop off. And, i suspect my suspension has been limited because of the bent torsion adjuster connection. Ill get some pics up soon, its pretty cool how messed up it is...
In case your interested, im about to put a lexus 1uzfe v8 under the hood. Should allow me to break even more stuff!!

Yes, metal gussets. I just made some with 1/4 plate steel. They will work for a while, but the domed washer under the bolt head will not seat properly. I am going to cut the bracket off, reweld the original seat for the bolt head and reinforce it with plate steel. Should be bomber then.
