Amorology Rear Bumper Tire Carrier Mod
Well Guys I finally got my Rear Bumper Tire Carrier Combo done.
Boy I have to say it is so sweet I don't even take it offroad.
Jed at www.armorology.com in Colorado Springs did a fantastic job putting this thing together. If anybody is in the market for some custom fab work Jed is your guy to call.
Take a look at the pictures of the bumper and let me know what you guys and gals think.
Link below for pic hosting site Enjoy Doug.....

Right on.. looks sweet! Where are you going to mount the rear tag bracket? Do you notice at all any difference in the ride with that much weight off center in the back? I read that once somewhere and wanted to know if thats an issue.

Links and License Plate
There is a link to photobucket on Doug's post below the pictures. There are close up pics there and if you need to see something that isn't there, he did take about 120 photos from all angles he can send to you privately if you need him to. Ric will have to get a pic up of the license plate. We did put it to the left of the tire carrier and looks really good. The light system he used to light up the plate looks good too, not to bright just enough to not get a ticket.
Jed is an awesome fab guy. He has great attention to detail. He's not only a great fab guy he's a good guy all around.

What a beautiful bumper.
Armorology makes beautiful bumper.
The Springs has so many great fab shops.
Please offer only opinions you have or are qualified to give.
This is the same bumper that Rockware has put on trucks since 2003.
You cannot judge fit, finish and fab quality from pics, especially those taken at 20 paces by those who cannot weld.
It is a nice looking bumper.
Armorology makes nice stuff.
Let's keep the discussion to the matter at hand.

You know some times these forums amaze me. People are trying to share their ideas, mods, trips or whatever and rather than saying something nice, things go awry. If we all could remember what our moms told us when we were young. "If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all."
It doesn't matter what kind of mod you have or who made it, who built it, from what company, (we all have our favorite companies or people), it still means something to the person who had it done and I think we should all appreciate that. Come on everybody we are all on this forum for the same reasons, to talk about mods, trips, trails, let's respect everyone's accomplishments and (play nice). WOW did I just sound like my mom LOL.

These forums are amazing.
You have a nice bumper.
I am not disputing the quality of Jed's work.
If we are keeping to the topic at hand, it is about a nice looking bumper.
I have a hard time listening to discussion of fit and finish, fab quality, etc. when the pics are not of that. They are of a bumper. I also have a hard time because that is not the point of the post.
Again, you have a nice looking bumper. To those who can critique weld quality, finish and detail at that distance through a picture, I am impressed.
