torsion bars?

ok so im wanting to go with Downey 2wd torsion bars for my 2wd 1986 yoda, only one problem...there out. does anyone know if the splines are the same as the 4wd 86-94 pickup? i would rather have 26mm off-road torsion bars anyway but am not sure if the splines are the same size? to me it sounds as if the splines are all the same size just the diamater's of the rest of the bar is different. can i go with 4wd bigger and better torsion bars on a 2wd pickup without getting a new lower A-arm??

sway-a-way makes some for the 2wd also. and i think they are bigger then the downeys. goggle them and you shouldnt have any trouble finding them.

OME makes a set of heavy-duty that I've heard good things about.
