what size link tubing should i buy for the rear. i will have a dana 60 axle. and what kind of threads are on johnny joints and can i tap the links myself.

Usually 2" 0.25 wall for the links.

It's a MOTHER to thread the link tubing. Most people weld in threaded bungs.
