Here is what I am working on...
Parts list:
(in hand)
Outback Compressor 100% duty cycle 150 psi max
Slee-Offroad manifold w/ (4) 1/4" NPT and (2) for ARB solenoids
Pressure switch, not sure what PSI
100A relay
100A circuit breaker
ARB lines/fittings that came w/ the front/rear lockers
OEM in-dash switch to turn compressor on/off
(still needed)
Pressure regulator for lockers and quick connects
Air tank w/drain and appropriate connections/fittings - 8 gallon as I have lots of space
Quick connects front/rear for airing up and running power tools
In-line condensation filters
2 1/16” pressure gauge for A-pillar w/ electrical sending unit to monitor air pressure in air tank
Proposed setup:
Compressor is mounted in the tool box in the cargo area w/ the dual batteries
Manifold to be mounted in the tool box along with the pressure regulator for the ARBs
HD relay to be mounted in the tool box
Pressure switch to be installed in the air tank or in-line
100A circuit breaker to be mounted in the tool box (going to be busy in the tool box)
OEM switch to solenoid to power compressor w/ 100A circuit breaker in-line
Compressor to air tank w/ pressure switch in-line to turn the compressor on when air tank gets too low/turn it off when it fills up to the correct pressure
Air tank to quick connects for maximum pressure (150 psi) but w/ pressure regulator in-line
Air tank to manifold w/ pressure regulator in-line to reduce pressure for ARBs (90 psi)
Manifold to ARBs
I am going to put a moisture filter in each line coming out of the air tank and a pressure regulator on both front and rear quick connects and to the manifold for the ARBs.
I'll get hoses from a local contractor supply company-custom made.
I'll get the fittings the same place.
I'm going to fab my own air tank out of 8" SCH10S pipe w/ 8" SCH 10S Pipe caps. I'll use (6) 1/4" NPT to hook up everything, including a drain.

i could use that ARB wiring/plumbing diagram. I have the compressor and ARB diff but nothing else. I'll be starting on my OBA setup after exams in early may so i can contribute some ideas and pics from what i do then.

I'm bumping this because I would like an answer to all the questions Waskilly asked. I also have a question of my own:
Is there a large difference between using a tank with seperate inlets/outlets or using a tank with only one point of entry? I figured it would be better to have seperate points of entry/exit, but the entire system shares the same pressure so I'm not sure.

Should make little difference, other than ease of installation/plumbing, on how many ports a tank has. I've run single port tanks and will be adding a 2nd tank with 2 ports that I will use to feed a rear air line with. One line will feed the tank off the main air system, then the second line will run from the tank back to the rear bumper area for the air chuck attachment point.
