37' tires on 1st gen truck

Hey guys!! im sure this is posted somewhere, Ive found a few references but was a little unclear. im about to pull the trigger on a lift for my 1983 truck, looking at trailgear, allpro, wabfab, I'd like to clear 37's and am wondering with the standard 1" forward of the frame rail install of the front spring hangers as in the instructions will i still need to clearance the firewall slightly? any helps appreciated.

I believe OCDropzone said his 4 inch trail-gear lift on his Trekker would clear 37s. Maybe check his build thread out.
